An events venue for the whole community

If you are looking for a venue to hold a party, exercise class, meeting, workshop, or wake, Wymondham Village Hall has ALL the facilities to accommodate you and your guests and customers. There's a licensed bar, stage, complete with extension, trestle tables, comfortable upholstered chairs, lighting and sound equipment, Blue-ray player, projector and screen, a well-equipped kitchen with full-size oven, crockery, cutlery and glassware and of course toilet facilities and disabled access.

Everyone is welcome to come along to our regular Coffee Mornings on a Tuesday from 10.30am-12.00pm, and there are paid sessions for badminton, circuit training, Pilates and woodworking. Local community groups use the hall for their meetings and we have held a tremendous range of events over the years - Burns' Suppers, LIVE music events, film screenings, pantomimes and other theatrical productions, Jubilee and Coronation celebrations, breakfast clubs, quizzes to name but a few.

Our latest initiative introduces the concept of NT Live - high quality theatre screened at our very own community cinema, giving local people access to sold-out productions from the National Theatre and other West End locations at a much cheaper price - all without having to leave our local area, saving on travel costs. And of course, there's a licensed bar too! 

 

A recent addition to the facilities at the village hall is the Clothing Bank. You can leave clothes, shoes (in pairs), bags, etc in the container situated outside the hall. Saleable items will be sold for charity and non-saleable items will be recycled appropriately. The village hall will receive a payment towards our funds - according to weight.
